NotesSince the proposed Chesapeake Data Center Policy threatens the Great Dismal Swamp Wildlife Refuge and the Cavalier Wildlife Management Area, we will start off with an educational, 1.5 mile hike (paved pathway) on the Great Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. (No signs are allowed) Afterwards, we will go down to the intersection of George Washington Highway and Rt.17, with our signs, and do a sign waving for 30 minutes or longer. Honk if you hate Data Centers! Bring your own sign or use one of mine. Dress for the weather and I suggest insect repellant and sunscreen.
